SM ''UC-108'' was a German Type UC III minelaying submarine or U-boat built for the German Imperial Navy ((ドイツ語:Kaiserliche Marine)) during World War I. ==Design and description== The Type UCIII submarines were improved versions of the preceding Type UCII class minelayers. They displaced surfaced and submerged. The submarines were long, had a beam of and a draft of . They had a diving depth of .〔Gröner, p. 62〕 For surface running, the boats were powered by two diesel engines, each driving one propeller shaft. When submerged each propeller was driven by a electric motor. They could reach on the surface and underwater. On the surface, the UCIII-class boats had a range of at ; submerged, they had a range of at .〔Gardiner, p. 182〕 The boats were armed with three torpedo tubes, one on the stern and two on the bow, carried a total of seven torpedoes. The UCIII class had six mine tubes that could carry 14 UC200 mines. They were also armed with a single SK L/45 deck gun.〔
